Community Business College's language program students a
change to learn one or more of up to 30 languages.
The language program
includes the opportunity to learn a new language with online interactive Internet
software.
The
Community Business College language program, is a self-paced, interactive language-learning program
used across the globe and by governments and corporation to help people
learn languages quickly. Once you sign up for the program, you can select
from over 70 languages.
The language program is available online, so you
can practice your new language skills anywhere you have a computer and
Internet access.
This is the same Pimsleur language learning method as described in The
New York Times, Forbes and PBS
The
Community Business College Online Classroom teaches languages the
same way you learned your first language: by pairing words to images, easily
and naturally. This process helped us to learn to speak without translation
or memorization while we were learning as children. The program repeats
this process with your new language using rich imagery and a chance for you
to practice your accent, to help
learners think in a new language and perfect
pronunciation. Soon you will be speaking with confidence in a newly acquired
language.
Currently there are over 70 languages
from which to choose including Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, French, Russian
and even Latin. As you enter the e-classroom, you'll be asked which language
you would like to start with, but you are always welcome to explore other
languages and learn as much as you can in the months you have available to
you.
